D1 Airport – Atar –
El Rheouya
Ourcar leads us
directly in direction of the master key of Ebnou, which enables us to join 300

D2 El Rheouya -
Oasis of Tanouchert
We leave our
camping installed to join the first sand undulations to the foot of the hill of
Herrour. We discover as far as the eye can see the extents of dunes of the
Ouarane erg. Under our eyes, the oasis of Tanouchert appears like a mirage, an
island of coolness in this sand ocean.
D3 Tanouchert - El
Tiyar
We leave this area
of plate where contrasts of nature are offered to us enters extreme rocks, oasis
of freshness and fine sand. Such dive in the ocean, our caravan advances at the
rate/rhythm of the camels, the heart of the Ouarane Erg. The large Sahara is
there, vis-a-vis with us, unbounded.
D4 with J6 El Tiyar
- Afam el Herzougat - Toueyviret
With the passing

D7 Toueyviret -
Chinguetti - Atar
After a few hours
of walk, with the turning of a large dune, Chinguetti! We visit "the city of
sands", old capital of the area, now famous for its libraries and its
manuscripts. Chinguetti or Atar, according to the schedule of the flight of the
following day.
D8 Atar - Airport
Transfer to the airport of Atar and take-off for Return.
